"I found I could say things in color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way-things I had no words for."

Art, for me, is an outlet to express thoughts and feelings in a way that no words can. Trees, my absolute preferred subject, can be whatever I want them to be; twisted, gnarled and knotted or with graceful symmetry.  There are no constraints. I'm free to create and explore; to hide or reveal what I please. That's what art should be for all creators; an exercise in complete freedom of expression.
